Foundation for Community Soul

The Foundation for Community Soul (FCS) is a Thai non-profit organization established in 2010 (Registration No. SorRor 2/2010) and recognized as a Public Benefit Organization since 2013 (Registration No. 3825). We work to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable groups through learning, climate adaptation, and community-driven development.

About Us

Climate Resilience and Sustainable Sericulture

We help women silk producers respond to climate impacts, strengthen production practices, and secure more stable income.

Inclusive Learning

We improve access to learning at home, in schools, and in community settings. This includes home modifications for children with disabilities, caregiver training, and youth programs.

Community Enterprise

We build the capacity of savings groups and small community enterprises, offering training, mentoring, and learning hubs that promote diversified income and stronger local leadership.

Why FCS?

Many families in Surin and Buriram face economic pressure, climate challenges, and limited access to inclusive services. FCS addresses these gaps by supporting children with disabilities, women, youth, and community groups to gain the skills and support needed to improve their well–being and future opportunities.

 

Impact

For more than 15 years, FCS has delivered practical, community–rooted solutions. Families have safer environments for children with disabilities. Women in the silk sector are adapting to climate change. Young people are reconnecting with learning and community. Local groups are growing their ability to manage resources and lead development.
